Who We Are

I am a licensed professional counselor located in Richmond, VA and a proud alumnus of Virginia Commonwealth University where I completed my undergraduate work. I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health and Professional Counseling from South University, and I am a doctoral candidate at Grand Canyon University where I am currently studying psychology. I have previously worked in the K-12 educational environment for nearly two decades. I have a strong history of working with children, adolescents, and their families, providing academic and mentorship support. I also have experience in creating and conducting workshops and professional development opportunities, aimed at helping adult professionals grow within their perspective careers. In the clinical environment, I work with clients who experience trauma, mood disorders, anxiety, and relational conflict.

I would love to partner with you as you explore the challenges that you have endured and work to overcome them. I understand the hardships that many individuals face pertaining to health, employment, family, faith, and issues pertaining to intersectionality. It is my mission to be a champion for every individual, no matter where they may find themselves in their journey, and help them overcome the obstacles that stand in their way. My counseling approach is faith-based, culturally-relevant, and trauma-informed and is grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy, rational emotive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy, and narrative therapy. I pride myself on creating an environment that is safe and judgment-free, where the individuals I serve feel seen, heard, and understood. I strongly believe that no one should have to embark upon their healing journey alone. Therefore, I am committed to providing unwavering support to you as you commit to becoming the best version of yourself.
